Top Upcoming Movies in the start of 2020: Chhapaak, Tanhaji, Street Dancer, Panga, The Girl on the Train, Tarrum Khan
The year 2020 is going to be the year of the female actors. Be it Deepika Padukone, Kangana Ranaut or Parineeti Chopra, the leading ladies of Bollywood are all set to steal the show. These are some of the top upcoming movies to be released at the beginning of the new year:
Kangana Ranaut is all set to sweep the audience with Panga in which she plays the role of a national level Kabaddi player. The film is slated to release on 24 January which also stars Jassi Gill in the lead role.
Deepika Padukone is already making waves with her rebellious film, Chhapak redefining the movement on crimes against women. It is a biographical film based on a real life acid attack survivor Laxmi Aggarwal. The film also stars Vikrant Massey. Meghna Gulzar is the director of the movie which is releasing on 10 January.
Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior starring the two main old school heroes- Ajay Devgn and Saif Ali Khan is a historical drama releasing on 10 January. Ajay plays the role of Subedar Taanaji Malusare in the movie. And psst! Kajol fans are in for a treat.
Parineeti will be on a Hollywood ride. The much talked about upcoming Hindi remake of the Hollywood film- The Girl On The Train stars the best of India’s talent.
Parineeti Chopra, along with Aditi Rao Hydari and Kirti Kulhari (who plays the role of a British cop) form the starcast of the movie. The Girl On The Train releases on 17 January. It is an interesting psychological-mystery-thriller story of a recently divorced woman who travels daily on a train and what she observes in her journey.
India’s exclusive dance drama film is back. The sequel to Remo D’Souza’s Anybody Can Dance 2 (ABCD) is back with a charismatic cast comprising of Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor and Nora Fatehi, but this time with a different name- Street Dancer releasing on 24 January.
At the end of January, you can enjoy a great laugh with Hansal Mehta’s comedy film Turram Khan starring Rajkumar Rao, Nushrat Barucha and Rishi Kapoor. It is a light h+earted movie set in a small town of Uttar Pradesh.
