U2 is an Irish rock band formed in 1976 in Dublin. The band is well known for its rock and pop music. The U2 band comprises of Larry Mullen Jr, The Edge, Bono and Adam Clayton.
U2 was formed by the boys when they were in their teenage. Their debut album was Boy released in 1980 by Island Records followed by the album War released in 1983. U2 became well-known for their acts and concerts by mid-1980.
The release of their fifth album The Joshua Tree made them global stars and was their most enormous hit of all time. After The Joshua Tree, U2 produced With or Without You, and I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For. These albums topped the music charts all over the world.
Celebration of ‘The Joshua Tree’s’ 30th Anniversary
To celebrate 30 years of their album The Joshua Tree, U2 announced two tours in the years 2017 and 2019. The 2017 tour was held across North America, Europe and Latin America. In addition to the 2017 tour, U2 announced a 2019 tour on 31st May 2019. The U2 concerts will be taking place across countries like New Zealand, Australia, Philippines, South Korea, Singapore and for the first time in India.
