Movie aficionados are in for a treat in the forthcoming Ford v Ferrari - English Drama that narrates a tale of resilience, innovation and perseverance of a car designer and a racing driver, who together transform the contours of car racing. Based on a true story, it is the saga of visionary American car designer Carroll Shelby and the daring British born driver Ken Miles who take on the might of corporate interference and defy the laws of physics to create race car for the Ford Motor Company to conquer their rivals, the dominant Ferrari.
A remarkable film helmed by Mangold with equally emphatic performances from Damon and Bale, both Oscar winners in the past, it is slated for release in the Oscar season.
