Come November, Hind movie buffs and Bollywood fans are in for some exciting fare with a host of movies of varying genres scheduled for release. Dil Bechara is one such movie that raises quite some anticipation. The film is an official adaptation of the John Green novel The Fault In Our Stars. The novel was interestingly adapted for a blockbuster Hollywood movie in 2014 by the same name. The original English movie was directed by Josh Boone starring Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort.
The Hindi adaptation is being produced by Fox Star Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studio Motion Pictures, to be released in India on 29 November.

- The film went on the floors with the name Kizie Aur Manny. It was changed to Dil Bechara, which was picked from an AR Rehman number penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya, reportedly the theme song in the film.
- The film boasts of two important debuts – one of the Director Mukesh Chhabra and the other the female lead Sanjana Sanghi.
- Saif Ali Khan was roped in to play a fictional author who the young lovers go to meet. The cameo in the English version was played by Willem Dafoae.
