Suriya, the Tamil superstar who is well-known among the Telugu audience has a new upcoming movie. Titled Kaappaan in Tamil, this movie is titled as Bandobast in Telugu. This movie also stars Mohanlal and Arya alongside Suriya. Scripted jointly by director KV Anand and writer Pattukottai Prabhakar, Bandobast will hit the screens on 20th September, 2019, the same day as the Tamil version - Kaappaan. The movie is directed by KV Anand and the music is handled by Harris Jayaraj. The movie also stars Sayyeshaa, Boman Irani and Poorna. An action-thriller, Bandobast will have Suriya doing some some action-packed stunts.

This film is based on the life of freedom fighter - Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, a brave human who is not known to many. He lived in Rayaseelam and bravely fought the British in 1846.
