IT chapter 2 is a sequel to the 2017 movie It. The foundation of the movie series is on the 1986 Stephen King novel It. Based on the first part of the book, the sequel brings alive the novel’s second part where the central characters of the story have grown up and have taken to different walks of life.
IT : Chapter 2 is all set for a release on the 6th of September 2019 by Warner Brothers Pictures. The movie's first release will be in the United States.
Argentine movie maker Andy Muschietti has directed the film. Gary Dauberman has written the script. While It part one shows the main characters in their childhood in 1986, the sequel is set in 2016, 27 years later. The main characters of the story have now grown up. The characters are members of a club called the Loser’s club.
The story depicts the happenings in a town Derry Maine that is visited by evil. The evil suffers defeat from Loser’s club, and certain events lead to its uprising after 27 years. The evil wants to avenge its earlier defeat. The events that follow bring together again the main characters of the story, though now they are all settled at different places and have different professions.
IT - Chapter 2’s first official trailer shows a central character of the story paying a visit to an old acquaintance. She was a child in part one who used to visit the lady, now an old lady. The two ladies get engaged in pleasant conversation until the old lady replies to some question by saying that those who die here never really die….the scenes build-up marvelously to create a foreboding in the spectator’s mind. The older woman is not the sweet old granny she seems to be, and soon the movie takes a turn that would want to make you close your eyes shut tight, yet how can you miss what lies ahead…..
