Tiger Safari

Bannerghatta Nature Camp is a naturally maintained and well-preserved jungle near the Hakki-Pikki Colony in Bengaluru. Spread over a massive 25,000 acres of land, the jungle serves as a natural habitat for a large number of animals. Tiger, lions, leopards, and cheetah are found in the Bannerghatta National Park.
Many of the lions and tigers living comfortably in the Bannerghatta National park have been rescued from circuses where they were kept in inhuman conditions and unsafe conditions.
The biggest highlight of the jungle is the Tiger safari that allows you to go on a ride in a caged vehicle to watch the animals in their natural habitat. The entire safari seems like an adventure activity where you are taken close to the lions and tigers with the caged vehicle as the only protection between you and the lion sitting close to the vehicle.

The Bannerghatta Safari Adventure camp is an exciting trip for both children and adults full of adventure activities.
The Safari starts from 10.00 AM and the check out time for the safari is 05.00 PM.
A day spent in the Bannerghatta Nature camp includes a welcome drink when you reach, buffet lunch, tea or coffee in the evening, Lion safari, Herbivore Safari,  Zoo visit.
However, there are certain points you should bear in mind if you are planning a visit to the Safari.
  • Visitors are instructed to dress in colors that would camouflage them with the environment.
  • Animals inside the zoo must not be teased in any manner.
  • Swimming is not allowed as it can be risky.
  • Visitors are requested to follow all safety instructions and guidelines laid down.
  • A mobile phone is not allowed when going outdoor.
  • Smoking is not allowed.
  • Photography is allowed. However, do not use flash while clicking photographs.
  • Visitors are instructed to stay seated while going on the safari.
  • A word of caution for people suffering from back pain as the safari ride being a bumpy ride can aggravate the pain.
  • Avoid any littering in the park.
