The Mahindra Blues Festival is coming back to Mumbai this February. It's time to celebrate the coming month with heart-throbbing music. This year in 2020, the Mahindra Blues Festival will be celebrating ten years of the musical festival. There will be some of the best musicians ready to create the magic of music and spread it to your hearts. This is Asia's largest musical extravaganza spread over two days.
About the festival
The musical event since its inception in 2011, has been bringing the greatest musicians on stage. There have been great artists like John Lee Hooker Jr., Walter Trout, Buddy Guy and Taj Mahal perform at the festival. Mahindra Blues Festival has also been nominated for the 'Keeping the Blues Alive' award which is awarded by The Blues Foundation of America.
Artists
The artists performing this year include Larkin Poe, Keb Mo, Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band and Buddy Guy. These are the most celebrated and amazing guitarists of the 60s and 70s. The eight time Grammy award winners, which include the awesome Kevin Roosevelt Moore (Keb' Mo'), the coolest Kenny Wayne Shepherd (famous from "Blue on the Black" and "Everything is Broken" fame) will be performing there. Larkin Poe, a band, mentored by Rebecca and Megan Lovell, will be there too. Larkin Poe is the descendant of Edgar Allen Poe. You can also get to see Homegrown Blues Collection.
