We have an interesting line up of movies coming up in a few weeks, and we have brought some of the top picks in this section.
Terminator: Dark Fate (Releasing 1st November 2019)The action sci-fi Terminator franchise returns with a bang! Although their last outing "Terminator Genisys" did not live up to the expectations of the fans but this time they are bringing the old charm back.
This movie does not only mark the return of Linda Hamilton to the franchise, but you will also see Arnold Schwarzenegger in a new avatar where he will be playing his original Terminator T-800 but with an old man twist. Also, James Cameron returns as a producer of the movie. The director's chair is filled by Tim Miller, who directed “Deadpool.”
The trailer looks action-packed, and the new additions to the franchise like Mackenzie Davis and Gabriel Luna looks promising. Let’s hope for the best!
The ZOYA Factor (Releasing 20th September 2019)Based on Anuja Chauhan's 2008 novel The Zoya Factor, this is a Rom-Com which revolves around a girl named Zoya Singh Solanki who seemingly has a normal life but becomes famous, once she deems to be lucky for the Indian Cricket team during the 2011 world cup.
This is a directorial venture of Abhishek Sharma who last directed the well-acclaimed patriotic flick "Parmanu: The story of Pokhran." It is said that Red chillies entertainment(owned by Shah Rukh Khan) was the first one to buy the rights for the movie but as the project was never materialized, so in 2013 the rights of the movie was acquired by Pooja Shetty.
The Joker (Releasing 4th October)Todd Phillips directs this realistic neo-noir take on the origin story of the notorious thug “The Joker.” The titular character is played by Joaquin Phoenix, who needs no introduction. He has impressed both audience and critics alike with his work in “Her” and “You were never really here.”
The remaining cast includes some of the most versatile actors like Robert De Niro, Zazie Beetz, and Bill Camp. The story is set in 1981 and will take the audience into a more realistic and bleak Gotham City.
Leonardo DiCaprio was the first choice of studio for the role, but Todd had a clear vision of Phoenix as Joker. We hope it proves to be better than the Leto’s Joker from the suicide squad.
