Red Bull BC One is here once again to shatter the streets of Mumbai for its 16th edition. Red Bull BC One is the largest one on one breakdance event featuring B-boys and B-girls across the globe.
Happening every year, passionate dancers across the globe eagerly compete for a chance to represent themselves at the world finals.
16 B-boys and 4 B-girls ultimately get the opportunity to battle it out on the BC One World Final stage and the winner gets to bag the Red Bull BC One World Champion title.
Rocking Streets Since The 20th century
This dance form took shape in the streets of New York City in the late 1970s. Breaking is one of the four pillars of hip hop culture, the others being DJing, MCing and Graffiti Art.
Music And Movements In Break Dance
This dance form is all about four kinds of movements, namely top rock, down rock, power moves, and freezes. Songs with drum breaks are the choice hip-hop, funk, soul music, and breakbeat music particularly.
Red Bull BC One In The Land Of Different Cultures And Dance Forms
The cultural centre “La Coupole” in Biel witnessed the first-ever Red Bull BC One World Final in 2004.
Mumbai was the first to hold the event in 2015. Breakers rocked the Indian streets for five consecutive years. It was held this year by Nine city cyphers and four regional cypher’s.
16 B-boys and 4 B-girls made it to the finals of which B-boy Tornado from Mumbai and B-girl Jo from Bengaluru bagged the titles.

Giving opportunities to develop their skills and perform on a global stage, the choice of picking best breakers on the planet, this year Mumbai Streets will rumble with 16 of the world’s best breakers dancing their heart out to grab the title of Red Bull BC One World Champion.
Red Bull BC One All Stars
Thirteen internationally acclaimed dancers came hand in hand to constitute this team. Each dancer has competed in the Red Bull BC One displaying the art of B-boying in all of its forms.
All of them are unique in their style and skillsets. Being ambassadors of Hip-hop culture, they believe in sharing their experience and skills to the upcoming dancers.
Details Of The Event At Mumbai
The hosting of this dance event will be at Dome, NSCI, SVP Stadium, Worli, Mumbai on 9th November. The show will commence at 6 pm and continue for 3 hours.
